Ustwo games released an update for Alba: A Wildlife Adventure last week that adds a bunch of new content for players who’ve already beaten the game. It is available to download now on Apple Arcade.

The developer posted on its official Twitter account about the new patch for Alba, saying: “Finished Alba: A Wildlife Adventure? Play the update to build a beehive, protect Pepe and track a new mystery animal! Available on Apple Arcade today.”

It’s not a large update, but should satisfy anyone who has beaten the game and wants to rinse some more playtime out of its gorgeous Mediterranean setting. The new content included in this patch features a beehive building and a new Mystery Animal quest with a sign and new activities to participate in.

Released on Apple Arcade in December, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is about a young girl who goes to visit her grandparents on the small island they live on only to find the location suffering from an ecological crisis. Alba forms the AIRWL, an organisation which serves to save the island from this impending disaster and restore the balance of nature.

As a game that heavily focuses on the importance of looking after our world, Ustwo games has used Alba as a way to bring attention to the impact humans can have on the environment. Earlier this year it was reported via PocketGamer that the company had planted 275,000 trees which correlate with the game’s total number of downloads.

You can download Alba: A Wildlife Adventure from the iOS App Store via Apple Arcade, the paid subscription service by Apple which gives you access to hundreds of mobile games on iPhone and iPad. The service costs £4.99 per month, with a free trial also existing for new customers.
