The Witcher: Monster Slayer is a new augmented-reality game developed by Spokko coming to iOS and Android in the future, and you can pre-register now for access to the game’s soft launch on Android.
The game is based on popular The Witcher series of novels and video games, and it looks like it’s including content from the first game but repurposed to suit a mobile interface. This content includes a special augmented reality feature, where you will encounter frightening monsters in an AR environment.
You can check out how this works in greater detail in the video we’ve linked above.
As for what to expect from the RPG, you’ll be able to explore the realm of monsters with Geralt, the main protagonist from The Witcher series. The story will also be entirely based on that too, so if you’re a long-time fan of the series there’ll be many moments you experience that are familiar to you.
Just like other role-playing games, you can also collect trophies, win rewards, explore new areas, craft new weapons and take part in first-person combat.
