Kuro Game has announced it will be releasing the hit sci-fi RPG Punishing: Gray Raven in worldwide territories later this summer after previously topping the charts in China and Japan. It will be launching for iOS and Android devices in Europe, North America, Australia and Southeast Asia this summer.
Punishing: Gray Raven is a game that features deep RPG mechanics, third-person 3D melee combat and stylish arcade action that pushes mobile hardware to its limits. In it, you play as a squad of highly-trained cyborg heroes who lead missions in a ravaged world.
Once upon a time, an engineered virus known as The Punishing has spread across the entirety of the Earth, controlling all synthetic life while also killing organic beings. Violent machines now control the planet, and the surviving humans have fled to a space colony called Babylonia. The elite Gray Raven special forces are leading a mission to retake the Earth and reclaim humanity’s home.
As commander of the Gray Raven forces, you build up an elite team of super soldiers to tackle this mission, directing them in intense action combat scenarios while also uncovering more truths about the virus than originally known. The game also features highly-detailed 3D graphics, complex combo-focused combat and an RPG party management system.
If you want to play Punishing: Gray Raven, you’ll have to wait a little longer. You can pre-register soon though, as well as sign up for the closed beta. After launch, Kuro Games is planning on supporting the game with content updates to roll out over time, with stuff like new story chapters, playable characters and time-limited events being added.
Punishing: Gray Raven will launch this summer on the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store in North America, Europe, Australia and Southeast Asia. It will be a free to play title.
