Logisk Studio has released The Chronos Principle, its new mobile puzzler available for iOS and Android devices. The game comes from the developer who also made popular puzzle games such as Oculux, Orixo, and Hexio, and it looks like this one continues the developer’s same legacy of creating hand-crafted minimalist games.

In The Chronos Principle, you play through and find solutions for minimalist puzzles in a variety of different stages which each have their own intricate designs that explore the concept of time manipulation. This means you must cooperate with your past self to find the solutions to the 77 hand-crafted puzzles in the game.

These mechanics are communicated to you through the game’s narrative too, as it is gradually presented to you over time in the story to preserve a smooth and enjoyable experience without it feeling too artificial.

As well as the puzzles, the game also features a few quality-of-life stuff such as light and dark modes for extra visibility, and cloud saves which will allow you to play the same playthrough across multiple devices.

“I believe that with its original idea, immersive atmosphere, and minimalist art style, players will have the opportunity to experience a mind-bending journey on par with other high-quality games and provide them with an unforgettable experience,” says developer Joey Kazma on the release of The Chronos Principle.

You may be familiar with Kazma’s work from mobile games such as Oculux, Orixo, and Hexio. If you’d like to try these games for yourself, Logisk’s website links to the right store pages where you can access them.

You can download The Chronos Principle now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. It is a paid title which costs £1.99.
