Appxplore has launched a new update for Light A Way, the mobile adventure game all about light and dark. The update was originally supposed to be released last week but had been postponed to now and can be download from the App Store and Google Play.

This update is in recognition of Eid, the Muslim holiday that is occurring this month. The new star-studded event has you collect fallen stars and exchange them for enchanted gift sets that contain bundles of powerful magic staffs and lightstones.

The stars can be traded for the elegant Dancer Dress Set, a piece of clothing that drapes your character, the Guardian, in luxurious silks as she journeys through the darkness and into light.

But the main takeaway from Light A Way’s new Eid update is the new Moon Dress Set, a starry night gown adorned with intricate constellations and topped with a crescent moon headpiece. It’s beautiful and elegant, and has an in-game purpose of enhancing your attacks too.

Eid al-Fitr is occurring this month. It’s a festival that marks the breaking of the fast that occurs for Muslims during Ramadan. The practices vary depending on the country, but typically it involves three days of celebration which include special morning prayers, a big meal prepared at home, and a special greeting where people say “Eid Mubarak” to each other, which means “Blessed Eid”.

Light A Way is an adventure game from Appxplore where you play as a Guardian who is tasked with bringing light back to the world. You do this with the magical Staff of Flare, where you set on a path to rid the darkness that has tainted the lands you step on.

Light A Way is available to download from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. It’s a free to play game containing adverts and in-app purchases.
