Polar Bear Rescue, a new mobile puzzle game from German games studio Burning Fox Games, is out now for Android devices and will soon be coming to iOS too.
The game is intended to be about raising climate awareness, where your objective is to rescue a small polar bear from its floating ice block on the ocean and bring it safely home on the mainland. You do this by making a connection of wooden bridges that creates a path for it to cross safely.
Each level in Polar Bear Rescue gets harder and harder as you continue playing, with new worlds and stages gradually unlocking as you progress through the game.

German games studio Burning Fox Games was formed in October last year, and it aims to create new game concepts that are focused on learning and sustainability, especially for younger players. With Polar Bear Rescue, it hopes the game’s themes will be able to bring more awareness to the current climate disaster that is threatening the homes of polar bears.
“It was important to us to create a game that is both fun and fosters logical and three-dimensional thinking for all ages,” says Nils Schergens from Burning Fox Games. “At the same time, we also want to draw attention to the critical situation of polar bears due to climate change.”
Polar Bear Rescue is now available to download from the Google Play for Android store, where it is a free to play game containing adverts. It will also be coming to the iOS App Store in the future.
