The closed beta for Punishing: Grey Raven, the multiplayer RPG by Kuro Game, has now begun after it was announced last week to be coming to Android. An iOS beta is also planned for a future date, with details on that coming soon.

The Android closed beta test for Punishing: Grey Raven runs from today until 3rd June, and sees 3000 players joining the game to check it out for the week after a short period of pre-registration. This offers players an insight into what the full game will be like once it releases later this year.

Unfortunately, there will be a progress wipe at some point in-between the beta and full launch, meaning your characters from the beta will be reset to put you at the same level as everyone else when Punishing: Gray Raven releases worldwide. So be sure to keep this in mind while playing the beta.

That doesn’t mean it’s entirely pointless to play the beta though, as Kuro Game is giving beta players some exclusive items to use when the full game launches in the summer. These items aim to give an edge in battle and will help you to prepare you for any conflicts.

The full list of items awarded to beta players includes 15,000 Black Cards, 10,000 Basic Character Research Tickets, 7,500 Targeted Weapon Research Tickets, and ten Medium Serum Bundles with the full game.

As for when Punishing: Gray Raven is expected to launch, Kuro Game has not specified an exact date yet. What we do know is it will be launching sometime in the summer. It will be available to download from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store and will be free to play.
