Square Enix has launched pre-registration for its upcoming adventure game, NieR Reincarnation, which launches later this year on iOS and Android.
The announcement came during Square Enix Presents which is a part of the current E3 press conferences going on at the moment. It has previously been made available for pre-registration but only in certain countries.
It takes place in the NieR universe, which is the setting for NieR and NieR Automata, itself a spin-off of Yoko Taro’s earlier Drakengard series. You play as the mysterious Girl in White, who wanders through an ethereal world guided by a spirit known simply as Mama.
As you continue your journey, you discover echoes of lost memories that help you piece together the story, and you must also avoid a terrifying creature made of armour known as the Dark Monster.
Pre-registration is now available for NieR Re[in]carnation, an action command-based RPG for mobile. Learn more here: https://t.co/QCrHj0KtJ4 pic.twitter.com/Xyc9LFO69W

The combat is also designed to be very accessible, where you can utilise an auto-battle mode if you’d prefer to experience the world and story rather than try the battle mechanics. There’ll also be other characters you can meet who will help you destroy your enemies in battle.
NieR Reincarnation was originally announced last year as a mobile exclusive, with lots of information coming out during the 2020 Tokyo Game Show. It was then made available for pre-registration in Japan and then later released in that region in February earlier this year.
If all goes to plan, NieR Reincarnation is planned for a 6th November release. That’s if the store listing is to be believed. It’ll be coming to the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store, where it is a free to play game also containing in-app purchases.
