Activision has launched a new season for Call of Duty Mobile on iOS and Android devices, introducing more content to the game both free and paid.
Season Five of Call of Duty Mobile is named In Deep Water. As the name implies, it is aquatic-themed and features lots of ocean-ready content for players to sink their teeth into. The update comes with a new Battle Pass, as well as free maps, weapons and game modes to enjoy.
If you purchase the Battle Pass, you will unlock some new operator skins including the Rorke – Man Hunter skin and Roze – Foreshadow skin, which each have their own character-specific take on the ocean vibes the new season gives off. There are also other bits of content included like weapon blueprints, charms, calling cards, and CoD points.
If you’d prefer to not pay any money, you can just get the free version of the Battle Pass. It doesn’t include as much in it, but you can still grab a few items from it. At Tier 14 you get the K9 Unit Operator Skill while reaching Tier 21 grants you the CR-56 AMAX weapon.
Meanwhile, new maps and modes are coming to Call of Duty Mobile during the In Deep Water season. You can now play matches on Suldal Harbor, Aniyah Incursion and Docks, which each appeared earlier in Call of Duty Modern Warfare. These maps are available in Gunfight, 5v5 and 10v10.
As for modes, you’ll be able to play Cranked: Confirmed and Ground Mission throughout the season, as well as a brand new event called Sea of Steel themed around naval combat.
Call of Duty Mobile and the In Deep Water season is now available from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store. It’s a free to play game with adverts and in-app purchases.
