Kabam has updated its Marvel Realm of Champions game with a new update containing a brand new feature and other improvements. The update is available now on iOS and Android.

The new feature for Marvel Realm of Champions is called Transmog, and it allows you to alter the appearance of your champions’ armour and weapons. This means you can now explore different looks for your characters to add some variety to them.

Transmog works through a unique customisation currency called Essence which is required to change the appearance of each of your items. The rarer the appearance, the more Essence it takes to apply the new look. Essence is available as an additional reward attainable through different means in-game.

Alongside the new Transmog ability, Marvel Realm of Champions is also adding more world quests to the game.

These new quests involve different popular Marvel characters setting out on new missions, such as an unworthy Thor going on a quest to earn the right to his own Mjolnir hammer, aided by the Winter Soldier who has walked away from the world after a personal tragedy.

These new world quests come with new gear additions to the game too, such as Thor’s Odinforce suit of armour and Unworthy outfit. It sounds like the perfect content update to accompany the new Transmog feature.

Hulk is also getting a new weapon called Wing Shield, which changes his champion abilities once selected. The Wing Shield provides crowd control options using the heavy attack which deals area of effect damage to all nearby enemies, while the special ability called Gamma Bulldozer is best used when surrounded to stun and deal heavy damage to the whole enemy team and can push enemies out of the Capture Point.
