RAID: Shadow Legends is a mobile RPG that most people are familiar with by now. Even if you haven't played it before, you've probably seen it advertised by several YouTubers at some point. So, it's probably not too surprising to learn that they've now teamed up with us famous Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins.
The partnership will see the popular streamer added to the game as a free playable character on July 16th, which will see the start of a three-month event. The man himself will then unveil several details about the champion during a Twitch stream on July 19th. It will include information on the stats, abilities and design influences.
Ninja's character will join an already sizeable roster of over 500 different champions from 14 factions. The game has proven to be exceptionally popular since it first launched, having racked up a playerbase of over 56 million. Blevins' character can be used in all game modes, including the single-player campaign (PVE), Dungeons, the Arena, Faction Wars, Doom Tower and Clan vs. Clan Tournaments.
Discussing the collaboration with Raid, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins said: “I’m really excited to introduce RAID fans to my Champion, which was designed to match how I’ve always pictured myself in an RPG.”
He added: “As my fans know, I love the RPG genre, and to see myself as a fantasy character with my own set of special skills and attributes is awesome!”
RAID: Shadow Legends is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
