Niantic has finally unveiled the details for the Ultra Unlock Part 3 event, which will take place from 20th to 31st August. It will see the debut of several Galar Pokemon in the game, including the two Legendary mascots from Sword and Shield, Zacian and Zamazenta, in their Hero of Many Battles forms.
Alongside the two Legendary Pokemon, you will also encounter Skwovet, Greedent, Wooloo, Dubwool and Falinks. There's also a chance you might run into Shiny variants of Galarian Meowth, Galarian Farfetch'd, Galarian Weezing and Galarian Stunfisk.
During the event, there will be event-exclusive Timed Research missions to complete for encounters with Galarian Pokemon. Similarly, you can get themed Field Research tasks from PokeStops that can result in encounters with Skwovet, Wooloo and Falinks.
Meanwhile, Galarian Meowth, Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Farfetch’d, Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Darumaka, and Galarian Stunfisk will hatch from 7km Eggs. So, make sure to send plenty of Gifts if you would like any of those Galarian variants.
These Pokemon will also appear in Raids through Ultra Unlock Part 3. Between 20th and 26th August, you'll find Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Farfetch’d, Unown U, and Galarian Zigzagoon in one-star raids and Galarian Weezing, Lapras, and Falinks in three-star Raids. Meanwhile, Zacian will feature in five-star Raids and Mega Beedrill in Mega Raids.
