The critically acclaimed fighting game Soul Calibur will punch and kick its way onto the App Store later this week.
On 19th January, to be exact.
Originally released in arcades way back in 1998, it was ported to the Dreamcast the following year with updated graphics and an extra character: the villainous pirate Cervantes de Leon.
Andriasang reports that all 19 fighters will be included in this forthcoming iOS port, and that it will feature six modes: Arcade Battle, Time Attack, Survival, Extra Survival, Practice, and Museum.
There's no sign of the Dreamcast's expansive Mission mode, then, but Game Center leaderboard support for the Time Attack, Survival, and Extra Survival modes softens the blow somewhat.
Soul Calibur will hit the App Store on 19th January as a Universal app. The price has yet to be announced.
