At this point some readers might be a bit confused as they might remember this title better under its original title of 'Super Stick Golf'. Unfortunately a rather vicious trademark claim earlier in the year resulted in many games needing to change their titles to remove the word 'Stick' with relation to sports games. So now we have 'Super Stickman Golf', but other than the title the game hasn't lost its charm at all.
In fact today's update of the game has gone a long way to improve what was already an amazing Singleplayer experience by adding in a Multiplayer feature along with a few related achievements and six new courses. Players can duke it out in a 2-4 player match-up played in real-time, awarding players for getting to the hole first and the number of strokes taken to get there. Special balls and power-ups can be used to give you an edge, but some can give your opponents a boost as well, so take care.
As part of the update's announcement the game has been dropped to $0.99 and if you're still not convinced you can check out our 5-star review here and a trailer showing off the multiplayer features here:
After checking out the changes we've also updated our original review to reflect the update. Definitely worth grabbing if you enjoy skill-based challenges.
