HeroCraft, the Russian publishers responsible for the popular Flash puzzler Gibbets, have announced that a sequel is in the works, and it's coming to iOS.
Playing as an altruistic marksman in the original Gibbets game, you cut condemned men down from the gallows, using only your trusty bow.
With a limited number of arrows and multiple convicts to save, each level requires careful thought as well as careful accuracy.
Word from Russia, then, is that Gibbets 2 is in development, and that it will be landing on the iPhone sometime in the second quarter of next year.
When it does eventually touch down on iOS, it'll boast 30 new levels of slightly morbid puzzling action.
There's no word yet on a price, but fans of gallows humour would be advised to keep an eye on the App Store between April and June 2012.
