Gameloft has announced that it's hard at work on porting 12 of its most popular iOS and Android games on to Microsoft's recently released Windows 8 Platform.
There's no firm release date for the titles yet, just a vague 2012/2013, but they're a mixed bag of casual and hardcore games that should appeal to a broad spectrum of gamers.
Most excitingly for Windows Phone 8 players Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, the upcoming installment in Gameloft's CoD aping military shooter series is making the shift in the not too distant future.
There's also the dynamic duo of superhero movie tie-ins The Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises, and sci-fi FPS epic N.O.V.A 3.
