There aren't that many multiplayer shooters for your iOS device, and those that there are often have a few problems that keep them from being as enjoyable as they should be. It looks like Gameloft is trying to fix that with Blitz Brigade.
The game owes more than a little to Battlefield Heroes and Team Fortress 2, although if you're going to borrow ideas from cartoon style multiplayer blasters, you may as well choose two of the best. Set during an alternate World War 2, the game is all about picking a class and doing as much damage as you can to the opposing team.
The classes you can play as all look pretty standard, from the muscular, heavy weapon toting brute to the lithe, sneaky sniper, there doesn't seem to be anything in the trailer that we haven't seen in games of this kind before.
Still, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's a motto that's served Gameloft pretty well down the years, and it doesn't look like we'll have long to see if it's worked with Blitz Brigade. You can check out the trailer below.
