If you were a fan of playing Penny Arcade's On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 on the go, then we've got some bad news for you. Unfortunately, due to poor sales, the 4th part of the story isn't going to be appearing on iOS or Android devices.

Speaking on Twitter, Robert Boyd, one half of Zeboyd Games, the developers behind the series, revealed that "Our mobile games & ports haven't done so well so the new PA RPG will only be on PC & XBLIG. Apologies to fans of iOS/Mac/Android." Then followed it up by saying "We'd love to put our games on every platform available but we're a two-man operation and want to be able to keep making new games."

It's a shame, because while the last game in the series has its faults, it was still a fun, retro RPG that offered up plenty for fans of the web comic to enjoy, and enough levelling up and giant monsters to keep the rest happy.

But the long and short of it is if you don't make money, you can't make games. Those of you who fancy seeing what you're going to be missing out on could do worse than popping over to the App Store and grabbing On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3.
