If you like your iOS games as hard, or harder than, nails, then Spellsword developer Everplay could well have a special treat waiting for you at the end of the month in the shape of 1001 Attempts. It's a game that's all about trying, dying, and trying again.

Presented in a simple, retro style, the game throws you into an empty room and tasks you with collecting some gems. Of course, it's much tougher than that, as you can tell from the trailer we've embedded below.

It doesn't take long for obstacles to start springing out of the walls, and that's when the real trouble starts. 1001 Attempts is tapping into the one-more-try arcade mentality that makes you push on even though your fingers are broken and your screen stained with sweat.

If that sounds like the sort of thing you'd be into, then you don't have long to wait, because the game is out on the 28th of February, just a week or so away.
