The first Exzeus was released in 2009, and was primarily an on-rails shooter, along the lines of a Sin and Punishment or Space Harrier. Now in 2013 developers Hyperdexbox Japan are releasing the sequel. It looks to keep the on-rails gameplay, while adding a third person shooter beat-em-up aspect to the mix. There is no definitive release date aside from "very soon" so we'll keep a watch out, and certainly review the title once its released. Here's hoping that it controls as well as it looks fun to play!
