We were big fans of both the iOS ports of GTA III and GTA: Vice City, and would definitely recommend revisiting their crime-streaked streets to brush up on your car-jacking technique.

If you more interested in depressing voiceover and bullet-time shoot-outs than vehicular manslaughter, then you'll be pleased to hear that Max Payne Mobile is also going cheap. You can pick up the noir blaster for £1.49 / $1.99.
