The full title of this competitive single-device multiplayer game is Carmachia: High-Octane Gladiators of 2075, but to keep things simple, we'll just refer to it as Carmachia. Due out on October 10th, this looks like a fun time if you have an iPad and a friend handy. While the iPad has flourished with digital representations of board games, I don't think its potential as a single-device multiplayer platform has been explored. Games like Carmachia are showing its strength in that area. Have a look at the trailer.

At the price of $1.99, it's certainly a steal if the gameplay is half as fun as it looks in the trailer. I guess we'll find out when the game is finally released.
