According to a press release which appeared on Touch Arcade, LEGO The Lord of the Rings has its scary, flaming eye fixed on the App Store, and is expected to appear 'soon'.

Given the high quality of the iOS ports of LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes and the LEGO Harry Potter series, we've got high hopes for the smartphone-friendly version of this plastic-themed trip into Middle Earth.
