Japanese RPG factory Kemco has just spat out another of its retro-styled, fantasy themed quest-'em-ups.

This one's called Chronus Arc. According the the App Store blurb, it features "familiar quests" and dungeons. Well, at least they're up front about it.

The actual plot concerns powerful artifacts called Chronus Fragments. When assembled, these fragments can control the passage of time. It all sounds a bit Chrono Trigger to us, but we're sure that's just a coincidence or a paradox or something.

Anyhow, it's up to you to reclaim this time shrapnel from a sinister chap named Geppel, who probably wants to use it to travel back in time to just after he was born and persuade his parents to give him a better name.

If you fancy tackling another 16-bit flavoured RPG with monsters and classes and puzzles and such, you can download Chronus Arc for £2.49 / $3.99.
