Developer Supercell has decided to bring some pre-Christmas cheer to Clash of Clans via its newly released winter update.

Download the update, and you'll find fortresses steeped in snow, twinkly lights aplenty, and the sound of sleigh bells jingling in the distance. All of which should put in you in the perfect frame of mind to march into your neighbour's village and smash up their town hall.

You know - just like Santa would do.

Speaking of Saint Nick, you can now enlist his holly-jolly help during scuffles. Simply say the word, and Santa will rain down explosive presents on your unsuspecting enemies. 

Along with the Christmas themed additions-the update also includes a few interface tweaks, such as the ability to view your barracks' training capacity via the info and upgrade screens.
