Cornfox & Bros., the developer behind Zelda-like RPG Oceanhorn, is planning on expanding the game's universe, most likely via an iOS sequel.
Though it's been less than a month since Oceanhorn appeared on the App Store, the game's creators are already looking to the future. And the future, it seems, contains more Oceanhorn.
Speaking to sister site PocketGamer.biz, Cornfox & Bros. member Antti Viljamaa revealed that in addition to considering porting the game to other platforms, the team is planning new content which may allow Oceanhorn to break free from its traditional RPG mold.
"Quite possibly, the future versions or sequels will give us room to experiment a little bit more or maybe step out of the RPG template," says Viljamaa.
"The next thing for us will be something to do with Oceanhorn, we are thinking of porting this version of the game to other platforms, but we haven't decided if we're going to do it and we haven't announced any particular platforms, but we would love to do a sequel and I'm 99 percent sure we're going to make one."
