Telltale is poised to release the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two on iOS this week.

With reviews of the console and Steam versions of the interactive zombie drama's second coming appearing all over the internet, we were naturally a little curious as to when it would shamble onto the App Store.

Handily, Telltale answered our question via Twitter, revealing that iPhone and iPad owners will be able to continue Clementine's tale before the week is over.

The Walking Dead: Season Two picks up a few months after the first series - and the expansion episode 400 Days - left off, with Clementine still trying to stay alive in a zombie-infested world. 

If you've already played through the first season, then bear in mind that the decisions you made will impact the way this new narrative unfolds. It seems that, like zombie elephants, these games never forget.
