If you're the kind of gamer who likes their RPGs isometric and covered in grids, then we've got some good news for you.
Spiderweb Software has revealed that its massive RPG follow-up Avadon 2: The Corruption will be coming to iPad on February 28th.
As you might expect, the sequel to Avadon HD is rammed full of geometric dungeons, ye-olde weaponry, magic systems, and textures that look like they've been lifted out of an Amiga game from 1992.
Story-wise, you'll be assuming the role of a servant of the Black Fortress charged with sorting out the civil war that's been making Avadon such an off-putting holiday destination.
If it's anything like the first game, Avadon 2: The Corruption will be unashamedly retro, and unforgivingly deep. Casual gamers beware: here there be inventory management systems.
You can find out if you're up to the old-skool challenge on February 28th, when Avadon 2: The Corruption hits iPad.
