In-depth and incredibly involving traditional RPGs are all well and good, but sometimes you just want to fight enemies, crush bosses, gain experience, collect loot, and enjoy the pleasant combat-focused grind of an action RPG.
Gamevil's Kritika: Chaos Unleashed is hoping to scratch that particular itch when it's released upon the App Store and Google Play on the 15th of July.
The gameplay is very much hack-and-slash, with characters that will sport different abilities and moves: the Berserker is a big heavy powerhouse, while the Cat Acrobat is more nimble.
When you're not fighting you'll be in the workshop crafting and enhancing weapons to improve your chances in combat, and your skills will evolve and improve as you progress through the game. If you get tired of the legions of standard enemies, there will also be Rival Matches where you'll be pitted against other players.
Gamevil's telling us that Kritika: Chaos Unleashed is built specifically with Western gamers in mind, and will feature all sorts of US-centric community activities.
One such activity is the pre-registration event, which is open now, and in exchange for your email address, you'll be provided a "limited-time avatar" as a thank you gift.
We'll bring you more on the game shortly, but in the meantime head over to this link here if you fancy that freebie.
