The underwater first person shooter / interactive objectivism essay BioShock is out now on the New Zealand App Store, and will come to other territories from midnight.
We've been covering the port of the 2007 shooter since the moment it was announced, with exclusive news and video access, plus an in-depth graphics comparison. Now you'll be able to revisit the art deco world of Rapture for yourself on your iPhone or iPad.
If you're yet to play BioShock, then you're in for a treat. It creates a world where nothing is off-limits, where only progress and profit matter, and an entire population has fallen for a new form of substance that dramatically alters the human body.
With different endings based on choices you make, multiple weapon and enemy types, and a peerless narrative, BioShock was a critical darling when it was originally released. That boss fight though? Let's just forget that ever happened.
You'll need an iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, iPad 4, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, or iPhone 5 to run this console / PC port, plus $14.99 / £10.49 of iTunes credit to pay the entry fee.
Will you be grabbing this one? Let us know, in the comments.
