We get a lot of questions from our viewers here at AppSpy about World of Tanks Blitz, so I dropped Wargaming.net a message to see if they could answer some of the ones we hear most often.

Though the developer is still cagey over how it will be expanding the multiplayer aspects of the game - clan support, for example, would be very welcome, but details were not forthcoming - it did confirm to me that cross-platform multiplayer with the Android version of the game is coming.

Android gamers can expect to see World of Tanks Blitz on their device shortly: according to the representative from Wargaming.net I spoke with, "the Android version is a few weeks away".

Personally I think this is great news, and I'm really keen to battle my pals with Android devices in what is one of the very best multiplayer games on mobile.

If you fancy getting in a bit of practise before the Android crowd turns up, the iOS version has just received a hefty update.

New content includes five extra vehicles: SU-100Y, Dicker Max, Panther/M10, Löwe and T34, plus a desert-themed map titled Oasis Palms.

There are also various tweaks to aim assistance, notifications, chat, and social sharing, plus better ambient sound effects, further gameplay balancing, and a couple of bugs squished.

The update for World of Tanks Blitz on iOS is now live, you can grab the game on the link below.
