Simogo's work is exemplary, and we've been steadily becoming more desperate to play The Sailor's Dream ever since it was announced.
But there's a chance we may have to wait a little longer than we anticipated.
Simogo's artist / writer Simon Flesser has taken to Twitter to express dismay at the new resolutions of the upcoming iPhone 6 models.
This morning, he said "2 new resolutions that are nowhere near the old ones, and expectations of your games looking good on all devices, is killing my enthusiasm." He followed up by writing "I am incredibly frustrated with the platform right now".
However, most concerning for fans of Simogo's games, were later tweets;
We don't want to release in the holiday chaos, so today we are looking into if this means a possible delay to 2015 for us. Fun times.

Also super frustrating that new users will play blurry messes of our previous games before we can get a chance to update. A real mess, this.

Though we're disappointed to hear that the game may need to be delayed, Flesser's concerns are of course completely understandable.
One of the stated reasons iOS developers create games for Apple devices rather than Android is the uniformity the platform provides.
However, with two new resolutions about to be added to the Apple compatibility list, creating a game that looks good on every device is going to be a more of a challenge for all iOS developers - especially smaller indie teams like Simogo.
