Vital Zigns' latest - Chop Block - is a hardcore platformer, and if you're a regular AppSpy viewer then you'll know I'm a sucker for a hardcore platformer.

I'm immediately reminded of Super Meat Boy when watching the newly-released trailer for Chop Block: the minimalist art style, the need for precision, the spinning blades, and so on.

Instead of Meat Boy, you'll be playing as Woodman, and it's your job to guide him away from dangers for as long as possible, until you're inevitably chipped.

Chop Block is a free-to-play game and will be available on iOS and Android from October 9th.
