Here is just part of the ludicrously long list of things you can do in Nordcurrent's latest release, Gamebanjo;
Shoot aliens.
Coast on a wave.
Smash blocks.
Match three.
Play Sudoku.
Pop bubbles.
Use towers to defend bases.
Shoot even more aliens.
Build a super sweet city.
Be a racing car driver.
That's a lot of stuff to be getting on with, I reckon.
Gamebanjo is a free-to-play compilation of primarily arcade-oriented 2D games, and it looks just spiffing. Originally released on iOS in March, after a million people downloaded it the collection has now made its way to Android too.
Though you can do all sorts in the game, the one thing that remains constant, rather neatly, is how progression works: if you do well in one game it'll help you move forward in the other games in the compilation.
