Monster Castle is a brand new mobile tower defence that just launched on iOS and Android, and includes a number of fresh twists on the genre.
The most notable of these is that you play as the monsters who have risen up and escaped imprisonment from the evil knight who captured them. So it's up to you to rally them in defence against this knight and his nasty human army.
To do so, you'll have to build a castle capable of pushing their forces back. This is made up of a variety of different buildings, some of which will need defending like the gold mine, wine barrel, and hero throne.
As you can expect, there are also offensive buildings like crossbows, cannons, and flamethrowers which will drastically increase your castle's defence when placed.
You'll also have to recruit a bunch of heroic monsters like warchilds, rock giants, and hellboxers, and you can level them up with an extensive skill tree to make them stronger.
The single player PvE mode includes a map full of levels to complete. The difficulty builds gradually over time so you'll be kept on your toes for the entire duration.
There's also global multiplayer where you can face off against an enemy player's castle. If you manage to successfully destroy it, you'll be rewarded with extra rewards and resources.
Alternatively, you can form an alliance with your friends and take part in monster clan wars, in which you cooperatively battle together.
Monster Castle is out right now and you can get it from the App Store [download] and Google Play Store [download], where they have been featured in North America and Europe.
