Hooray! MU Origin is celebrating its first birthday this July. South Korean publisher Webzen created the game as an updated, mobile friendly spin-off of MU Online, itself released way back in 2003. Since the MMORPG was launched, it’s attracted just shy of 2 million players to its magical lands. That’s like the entire population of Northern Ireland hacking and slashing their way through dungeons to a combined playtime of over 7000 years! Thankfully there’s enough loot to go round.

It’s like a child’s birthday party with goodie bags for turning up. Between the 28th of July and the 3rd of August, there will be daily log-in bonuses. If you play Colosseum, Party Dungeon, Epic Chest Point or Exchange, you can expect double the points, rewards and duration. Many in-game purchases will be discounted, and the player that buys the most during the event will receive the gift of a limited edition Conqueror Costume.
