Pulling into IOS and Android devices from today, Construction Simulator 2’s latest update is perfectly primed to help players keep on trucking. Bringing with it more machinery to take control of, tasks to undertake, and new ways to play, this heavy duty vehicle sim just gave you more reasons to dig it and it’s available now!
Of course, any type of machinery-based simulator lives or dies on the number of vehicles you can get behind. Thankfully, Construction Simulator 2 previously let players get grips with a huge vehicle fleet of original licensed machines, which now has been taken to well over 40. As new trucks and trailers from Mack Trucks and MEILLER Kipper enter the fold, each has been given the same full 3D graphical treatment veteran players will expect.
The new update also brings with it a new model forklift to replace the long-standing original. Previously, those who wanted to get your forklifting fix would be greeted with an older machine, but now this has been remedied thanks to the inclusion of a brand new STILL® RX60-80 forklift which makes loading tasks much more believable and immersive.
Finally, the last big addition comes in the form of Construction Simulator 2’s newly integrated experimental controller support - available exclusively on Android. This means you can connect your smartphone or tablet to an external game pad for improved control, letting you kick back and relax the next time you’re in the mood for a “riveting” time on site.
Take a trip back to the quarry. Construction Simulator 2’s jam-packed update is free to download now. You can grab it from the App Store by clicking here, or from the Google Play Store by clicking here.
