Now on Oculus Quest, Shrouded Citadel is a 1:1 scale first-person adventure where you'll have to dodge traps and shoot bad guys with IRL movements. Pifer Studios' immersive title was initially released as an AR mobile game, which features realistic visuals and vivid sound effects to make the game's interactive elements more engaging for players.
Shrouded Citadel lets players hide behind cover to dodge enemy blasts or crouch low on the ground to avoid whirring blades overhead. The goal is to make it out of the mysterious citadel alive - only this time on the Oculus Quest version, enemies hit harder and bosses move faster. Players will also have to interact with elements using their hands instead of the UI, making the game even more immersive.
As you collect idols, solve puzzles, match symbols and unlock doors, will you be able to make sense of the figurative shroud that surrounds the place and make it out alive?
Shrouded Citadel is available on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices, or Oculus Store for playing on Oculus Quest.. The full game costs $1.99 or your local equivalent. You can check out the official website for more info on all the latest developments.
