Snowbreak: Containment Zone has finally launched its global version on iOS and Android, featuring cross-platform play and tons of in-game goodies as special launch rewards. With more than 2.5 million pre-registration sign-ups, Seasun Games' RPG shooter offers a post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure and will task players with going up against epic Titans for survival.
In Snowbreak: Containment Zone, players can look forward to deploying a variety of characters as the Adjutant of the Heimdall Force. The game is set in the year 2057, and in order to make it through each day in the aftermath of the global catastrophe called "The Descent", players have to defend against raging Titans and take these colossal bosses down with realistic firearms.
After the game's testing phase, the development team implemented welcome optimisations to the game based on players' feedback, which includes encountering Giant Girl Titan - Ymir as a boss battle in different levels. The Cover System also provides tactical advantages to players as they can take cover during combat or vault over obstacles to take advantage of the terrain.
The new Base System lets players take a breather during their downtime, where they can interact with the characters, form special bonds, and customise their rooms. Lyfe, Fenny, Fritia, Acacia, Marian and Yao now boast 5-star versions as well.
As for the launch rewards, players can expect to score a 5-star or orange-tier operative once they clear the Main Story [Normal] 5-12. All of this comes on top of the special login bonuses and 7-day mission rewards. Additional rewards also await for those who redeem the limited-time code “sqj68y7et2” to score DigiCash x100, SilverBuck x10,000, and Rare Augmentation Kit x3 before July 31st.
The game also features different game modes such as Underground Purge, Tactic Evaluation, Clash of Honor, Neural Simulation, and Gigalink co-op mode.
