What images are conjured up when you hear the name Space box? If you thought of a cardboard box with eyes jumping from platform to platform in the cold depths of space, you are correct.

The goal of the game is to get the box to the final platform of each level, preferably in the least moves possible. If there are numbers left on the move counter when you finish the level, you gain extra lives. To move the box, tap it, and drag your finger to set the direction and force of the box's jumps. The controls are kind of sticky, and deciding what force to use can be a game of trial and error.

The visuals are very simple and bland, with basic textured 3D platforms. The sound is minimal, with a sharp twangy bass riff rewarding you for completing a level. Unfortunetly, ipod support is not enabled.

Space box is a simple and clever idea. The levels are well designed and there is great potential for fun. With some better presentation and tweaking of the controls, this could be a very addictive platformer.
