Max Injury Review
PROS
- Good physics engine.
- Online leaderboard options are available.
- Able to use iPod during gameplay.
CONS
- Short game length; only 12 levels to play through.
- The videos that run through the main menu have load screens; which gets annoying if you are trying to navigate.
VERDICT
If you welcome the idea of dressing a crash test dummy up as someone you don’t like and throwing them down a large flight of stairs, then Max Damage is well worth the current price.

Max Injury is a physics based game where players must launch a crash test dummy down an obstacle course in order to get as many points as you can. You get more points by the amount of damage inflicted to your dummy as he falls down stairs, drops from great heights and smashes through objects.
You launch the dummy by flicking the screen or dragging him around. Once he begins to build momentum, all you have to do is watch him fall and rack up points. For each level you are given a limit of fingers, acting as a max move counter. The controls work but can be a little sensitive when flicking.
The 3D visuals look great and the game includes a fun feature where you can attach a photo from your iPhone to the face of your crash test dummy; allowing yourself or someone else to be smashed about. The game is limited to comic sound effects but players are free to use their iPod during gameplay. The game is single player only and features online leaderboard options.
Max Injury is a great physics based timewaster. It’s one of those titles that you can play any time for as long or short a period as you want. And while there are only 12 levels to play through, you will not get tired of watching your crash test dummy flailing wildly as he falls down a flight of stairs before landing on his head.
