From the culminated efforts of two fantastic developers, GeoSpark is a highly addictive pick-up-and-play game where players must shoot their way to survival by destroying all the geometrical “sparks” whilst trying to achieve the highest score possible.
The game can be approached in two ways. You can either take the easier and subsequently longer approach and tap and destroy each of the sparks for 10 points, or if you're feeling more adventurous you can tap on a spark and drag it to a similar spark to create chains which attract a nice score multiplier. The only catch with the second approach is that the chains create gravity wells which pull the sparks together and increase the risk of sparks colliding, so the longer the chain the greater the risk which adds an exciting and tactical element to the game. The game has also utilised Openfeint for local and global leader boards as well as achievements.
The graphics are a visual treat with neon-like, vector-based objects on top of a smooth animated grid which display sensational particle effects as each spark is destroyed. The soundtack like with most puzzle games is ambient and suits the game well with nice explosive sound effects.
GeoSpark with its simple yet addictive gameplay and amazing graphics, is a game which has delivered everything its promised and so much more. It offers great re-playability value and for its low price, is a must have title for anyone who enjoys a good puzzle challenger.
