It seems that Beeline Interactive is on a role and their latest title Glo Flo follows hot on the heels of the recent side-scrolling shooter Who's That Flying?!. In this colorful puzzler by developer GameTantra Digital you'll need to match bugs by drawing connections on a grid, however while the idea is sound it's hard to stay focused as the challenge quickly plateaus.

Those familiar with similar puzzle titles like Pathpix will pick up the gameplay in a snap, though there's not too much to learn. Various bugs of different colors are scattered around a grid and players need to draw lines between similarly colored bugs without crossing the lines. Touching and dragging allows you to draw and adjust each line, while double tapping bugs clears the path to try again.

Unfortunately the experience is all too short and after you've mastered the first dozen or more puzzles the rest of the game lacks the same level of difficulty. This isn't necessarily a bad thing at all and mindlessly swiping your way through puzzles has a zen-like appeal. The relaxed music and calm visuals further reinforce this feeling, but the end result is a completed game with nothing more than a halfhearted endless mode to fill the time between updates.

If you're after a new puzzle game, but you don't feel like a huge challenge, Glo Flo manages to strike a happy medium between brain tickling and requiring no concentration at all.
