VERDICT
It demands precision, and you'll occasionally slam into a difficulty spike, but Electronic Super Joy: Groove City gets so much right that we can't stay mad at it.

Lo-fi platformers may be all the rage, but developers still have a tough time making the formula work on touchscreen devices.
Thank goodness for Electronic Super Joy: Groove City, then, a twitchy, brash, and brutal side-scroller which is as interested in silly asides and pop culture nods as it is in sadism.
