If you're familiar with Apple's App Store, you'll already be more than aware that it's chock-full of similar-sounding hidden object titles.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with hidden object games, by the way, let me explain.
You have to spot specific items in crowded scenes that are usually jam-packed with distracting elements, such as people or other items.
Dream: Hidden Adventure, which was released worldwide back in October by developer Komar Games, is no different.
However, publisher Renatus Media believe their involved plot and story-driven gameplay set Dream: Hidden Adventure apart from the rest of the crowded pack.
It's this emphasis on story, in fact, of which publisher Renatus Media are most proud.
According to Renatus Media, Dream: Hidden Adventure has so many wonderful features that make it special. Renatus Media do take particular pride in the game's storyline, though.
Komar Games knew right from the start that if the game took place in the dream world, it would be crucial to come up with a vast storyline to introduce the fantasy characters they liked so much, and to tackle the good vs evil confrontation.
Renatus Media believe that Komar Games have succeeded in creating such an atmospheric game.
In Dream: Hidden Adventure, you set off on a quest across Dream world, using your best seek-and-find skills to outsmart creatures and other nightmares before the fairy tale world you're visiting is destroyed and reduced to nothingness.
Along the way, you'll meet plenty of the unique and eccentric inhabitants that call Dream world home. Some will even ask you to complete favours and unearth tons of concealed items in order to complete missions.
Dream: Hidden Adventure wasn't directly influenced by other hidden object games, but Komar Games did set out to create an unusual, bright, colourful, and dreamy title that would appeal to the hordes of female fans who adore the hidden object genre.
The Dream world in Dream: Hidden Adventure provides many opportunities for creativity. In fact, Renatus Media describe it as a beautiful and imaginary world in which all your real-world troubles just drift away.
Komar Games aren't done and dusted with Dream: Hidden Adventure, mind. They have 'a lot of plans' for the future, and will add seven new locations to the game very soon.
These locations will give Komar Games a chance to elaborate on the game's storyline, and introduce new achievements and leaderboards that will allow players to compete against one another.
Don't wait to pick up Dream: Hidden Adventure from the App Store, though. It's free-to-play, after all, so you have nothing to lose.
Oh, and just in case you're wondering, Komar Games are currently considering releasing Dream: Hidden Adventure on other mobile platforms, too.
