You did read that correctly, yes. Taichi Panda is an action RPG about a bipedal panda that just so happens to know martial arts.
He makes up one of three playable characters you can choose from. The others are a Lara Croft-like treasure hunter or a knight not unlike Sir Lancelot.
There's a visually impressive fantasy world to explore that's in the iron grip of evil forces and it's up to a massive panda to try and restore the balance.
Bandits, goblins, and demons will try to stop you but will no doubt end up as a shower of blood and bone as you recklessly carve a path through them while trying to save the world.
Taichi Panda is made up of numerous levels in which you'll summon a variety of War Pets to help you lay waste to swarms of enemies ahead of you. They'll also come in handy when you're forced to take down a really tough boss.
As you play, you'll gather materials and resources which can be used to upgrade your character, his gear, and his skills so it can increase in power enough to meet any challenge.
There are also a selection of multiplayer modes, such as a 1v1 duel, 3v3 battles or three player Team Dungeons for the friends who want to play together.
