The second major Taichi Panda expansion, the Ascension Update, has been released by Snail Games and features a higher level cap, two new chapters of single player story, and a new server-wide event, Mega Boss battle.

Taichi Panda places you in the shoes of a panda martial artist, a warrior with a massive sword, a sneaky treasure hunter, or a fox mage and tasks you with heading out into dungeons to beat up thousands of enemy monsters.

The new expansion, the Ascension Update, includes a new level cap of 90 and two further story chapters to help you gain enough experience to climb a whopping five more levels.

You'll gain better gear and skills on the way, of course, but there's also a treat for lower-levelled players who aren't quite ready yet. The new equipment discovery system unlocks at level 64 and allows you to use Refinement Stones and Lunar Tears to tap into the true potential of your orange gear.

These new upgrade items are earned in the new levels or the server-wide event, Mega Boss battle. This pits you and all other participating heroes on the server against Nemeus, a fearsome monster from the deep.

There's also a new outfit for each hero and two pets, Wise Dory and Nami.
