Lets kick off the week with a top list! If you want to weigh in, drop a comment and let us know what you think deserved the top spot! As always a transcript follows after the video - so try not to spoil yourself!

Whether you're after a solid sports title, a snappy arcade time-waster or something with a bit more weight, May has been a good month for new releases. With so much to choose from, this has been a tough month to boil down, but without further ado, here's the Top 3 Games for May 2011 for AppSpy.com

3. Bumpy Road (Simogo)

We've seen endless runners, jumpers and variations in between, but in typical classy style, Simogo has taken a slightly different approach by giving us an endless platformer where you manipulate the world in order to keep a nostalgic couple from coming to a nasty demise. Bumpy Road shows that just because you're an Arcade game, doesn't mean you can't be the perfect little package with amazing aesthetics; simple, fun gameplay; and even a touching story.

2. CHAOS RINGS Omega (SQUARE ENIX)

It should be no surprise that CHAOS RINGS previously received game of the year from us at AppSpy and with such a great title under SQUARE ENIX's wing it's also no surprise to see a continuation of the series this year. In a slight change from the first title CHAOS RINGS Omega focuses on a single group of characters, making for a compelling story that's further reinforced by content updates scheduled for each month, meaning players can expect a lot of post-game content as well.

1. Touchgrind BMX (Illusion Labs)

Although some developers have had a few years to get used to designing games for a touch interface, it seems there are still some teething issues and for many it's easier to fall back to 'virtual' controllers instead of thinking outside the box. Illusion Labs has taken this to heart with almost all of their titles featuring unique ways to interact with their world and Touchgrind BMX is no exception as it continues the series with a push-bike twist. Realism is swapped for sheer insanity as players flip-out across the globe in beautiful locations with plenty of challenges to keep you busy as you unlock new rides, new looks and compete online for high-scores.

Sometimes it's not easy to work out who does and doesn't make the cut each month and May was especially difficult as great releases like First Touch Soccer, Storm in a Teacup and Snuggle Truck also make for great titles to check out if you're after something in the sports, platforming or physics-racer genres respectively. Better still, major content additions to Infinity Blade and Sentinel 3 mean that gamers looking to pinch their pennies can get more bang for their buck when picking up (or simply updating) these great games.

As always you can keep track of AppSpy via Twitter, Facebook and RSS; June has some hot releases and we look forward to covering them all for you.
