It's time for Norse fans everywhere to get excited, pick up their phone, shout Skol and then feel silly about themselves as the Vikings collaboration launches for Vikingard. Players can now fight alongside their favourite characters from the hit TV series.

The new pre-launch event sets the scene for the whole collaboration, with the encounter of a mysterious new Viking girl who has some deep knowledge of Ragnar’s famous journey. It is through this character that players meet four iconic Vikings characters; Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo and Floki as they prepare to depart on their journey to raid England.

The event brings six objectives that run over twenty-one days, with the storyline involving assisting Floki in creating his secret fleet, sailing to England to plunder the new land, dealing with various traitors and enemies and earning a noble rank for heroic deeds. This all concludes with a prophecy relating to adventures to come. Once the event ends, a review phase will start and offer the chance to relieve the whole storyline whilst replaying any gameplay segment that occurred.

Each of the four Vikings heroes joining the adventure will possess unique weapons and stat-enhancing skills, allowing them to slot effectively into any team immediately. They will also show up as NPCs in the Mead Hall and can be played alongside various dice and card-based minigames. Floki will also host the Treasure Hunt minigame, providing one clue a day to earn the secret treasure.

Players will also be able to speak with these characters outside battle to earn affinity with them, unlocking special rewards and keeping them around after the event ends. There will also be the Challenger’s Coast to participate in, involving mighty World Bosses to conquer together. Once the battles are won, a huge Crossover Banquet will take part involving all the Vikings heroes in a wonderful fan service-filled scene.

Vikingard is available to download now on both the App Store and Google Play.
