It is safe to say that at some point in everyone's life when watching a Disney IP has thought “I wish I could punch that character in the face”, probably Donald Duck, and Kabam Games’ Disney Mirrorverse was one of the latest mobile apps to facilitate this. Now, a new game mode has been announced along with two new characters to play as.

Disney Mirroverse is a role-playing game which takes place in an alternate universe, the apt-named Mirroverse. There are over 40 beloved Disney characters to make a three-man party from, each given a combat makeover reflecting this new dark universe. With characters from a huge range of Disney series, there is a dream team for everyone, and anyone who doesn't want to see Mulan being a badass alongside Stitch needs to take a hard look at themselves.

Rift Raids are a new event-based mode geared towards Alliances to encourage some more co-operation to climb ranks and earn big rewards. Running every week from Thursday 18:00 UTC to the following Monday, the aim is to advance through the rift defeating fractured enemies until finding the Gatekeeper, who when defeated allows advancement to the next tier. By repeating, Alliances will earn points that translate to prizes such as Role Gems, Gold and even Tier 4 Role Gem Shards for the highest ranks.

Combatting this new mode is a tall order, so two new Guardians have arrived to help in battle. Everyone's favourite sassy villain Hades arrives, billed as the Commander of the Underworld, a ranged character capable of reliably inflicting burns on opponents. Alongside Hades comes one of the most heinous villains of the Disneyverse, Cruella De Vil. Not much has been revealed about her abilities, however, her art showcases a futuristic-looking gun so safe to assume she won't be on the front lines.
